Prescribing and scope
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee prescriptions, controlled-substance prescribing, ongoing treatment, or even appointment availability. Clinical decisions depend on evaluation, jurisdiction, and safety considerations.
Identity, privacy, and communications
Identity and current location may still be verified before any first session. Privacy and communications expectations remain part of the pre-visit process when scheduling opens.
Operational note
Before the first session, send telehealth consent for e-signature, confirm the patient's current physical location, and make sure the final text has been reviewed for the jurisdictions where you intend to operate.
